Prof. Evans has taught each of the above sections except for
Fall 2002, which was taught by Dr. K. Clint Slatton, and
Spring 2006, which was taught by Dr. Guner Arslan.
Dr. Slatton is currently an ECE faculty member at the University of
Florida in Gainesville.
Dr. Arslan is a System Design Engineer at ST-NXP Semiconductor
in Austin, Texas.

- Comment from a Fall 1999 student after the student
had been working in industry for eight weeks: "keep that real-time
DSP lab as good as it was when I took it. I have to say, that lab
was the best class I took at UT. It is close enough to the cutting
edge of technology that you can hold a conversation with someone
from industry and actually contribute useful ideas. 345L is a close
second. Good work."

working for a startup company that had been bought out:
"Funny you mentioned the DSL in your class. That was actually
responsible for getting me my current job. I knew more than
