Master's Students of Prof. Brian L. Evans

Wael Barakat received his BS degree in Computer and Communications Engineering in June 2007 from the American University of Beirut. In fall 2007 and spring 2008, he was a teaching assistant for the real-time digital signal processing laboratory course. In summer 2008, he was an intern at Qualcomm in Campbell, California. He is a full-time graduate ECE student in the Communications, Networks, and Systems (CommNetS) curriculum track.

Research areas: statistical signal processing; transceiver design; speech/image compression

Rabih Saliba received his BS degree in Computer and Communications Engineering in June 2007 from the American University of Beirut. In fall 2007 and spring 2008, he was a teaching assistant for the real-time digital signal processing laboratory course. In summer 2008, he was a research assistant at UT Austin. He is a full-time graduate ECE student in the Communications, Networks, and Systems (CommNetS) curriculum track.
