Monday, July 16th, 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM in ENS 537 and 8:30 PM - 9:30 PM in ENS 302

This informal presentation will be broken into two parts:

  1. First Hour: Synchronous Dataflow Modeling (30 minutes) and Ptolemy Demonstrations (30 minutes)
  2. Second Hour: Other dataflow models, code generation, Ptolemy and Tycho demonstrations, and directions in modular deployable CAD tools

The first part will appeal to a general DSP audience, and the second part will appeal to tool developers and embedded system designers.

Ptolemy's style of system modeling, simulation, and synthesis has been adopted by Cadence in their SPW and Convergence environments and by HP EEsof in their Advanced Design System for wireless communication system design and implementation.
