I'm a professor in the Center for Advanced Research in Software Engineering (ARiSE) in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin and the director of the Mobile and Pervasive Computing Laboratory. I joined UT Austin in 2004, after completing my D.Sc. in Computer Science at Washington University in Saint Louis. From September 2019 through May 2024, I also served as the Associate Dean for Broadening Participation in Engineering for the Cockrell School of Engineering.
