Biography

I am currently a PhD candidate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, The University of Texas at Austin. My supervisor is Prof. Jeff Andrews. I received my B.Eng. degree in Electronic Engineering from The University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), Hefei, China, in July 2004, and my M.Phil. degree in Information Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, in Aug. 2006. My current research focuses on the capacity and performance of multi-cell processing techniques, including distributed antenna systems and cooperative base stations, and multiuser MIMO communications. In the summer of 2007 and 2008, I interned in AT&T Laboratories, working on MIMO techniques for WiMAX/802.16 and 3GPP LTE broadband wireless systems.
