Welcome to the Nanostructured Optoelectronics Group
Our research is focused on the development of quantum cascade lasers, systems for chemical sensing and microscopy, tunable plasmonic components and metamaterials operating in the mid-infrared and THz spectral range. Details are provided in the 'Research' section.

Our work is currently supported by two NSF grants, an AFOSR Young Investigator Program Grant, the Robert A. Welch Foundation, and the Texas Board of Higher Education Norman Hackerman Advanced Research Program Award.
