I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. I am advised by Prof. Robert W. Heath, Jr. and affiliated to the WNCG.
My area of research includes signal processing for communications. My current interests lie in the analysis and design of MIMO wireless systems with quantized or partial channel information at the transmitter and adaptive feedback strategies for realistic wireless channels. We are also investigating rate-distortion theory and general signal processing techniques on the Grassmann manifold.
I graduated from the Indian Institute of Science in 2000 and carry a work experience of four years. I am the recipient of the 2005 IEEE VT Society Dan Noble Fellowship.
