Research My senior year at Purdue I did research with Professor Bagchi and The Dependable Computing Systems Group in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department. There I designed and implemented an algorithm that took appropriate responsive actions to thwart computer intrusions. We published a paper on our project, codenamed ADEPTS, which you can read below.

Just for kicks, I decided to compile a list of the classes I took at Purdue each semester. Chances are no one gives a crap, but maybe someone will. At the very least it brought me some nostalgia when I put it together.

Spring 2004 - 13 Credits (but they felt like 20 credits at this point)
ECE469 - Operating Systems Engineering
ECE477 - Digital Senior Design (this class seriously almost killed me)
ECE495K - Object Oriented Scripting and Design
PSY120 - Elementary Psychology (consisted of 50% common sense and 50% nonsense)

Fall 2003 - 17 Credits
ECE437 - Computer Architecture and Prototyping (consumed countless hours of my life each week)
ECE462 - Object Oriented Programming (such a wonderful class)
ECE468 - Compilers and Translation Engineering
ENGR404 - Instruction and Leadership (yeah, again)
JPNS301 - Japanese Level V (by this point I started having dreams in Japanese)
MUS361 - Music Theory I

Spring 2003 - 17 Credits (yes, that is SIX ECE classes in a single semester)
ECE301 - Signals and Systems
ECE302 - Probablistic Methods for Electrical and Computer Engineers
ECE364 - Software Engineering Tools Laboratory
ECE368 - Data Structures
ECE400 - Senior Seminar
ECE495D - ASIC Design Laboratory
JPNS202 - Japanese Level IV

Fall 2002 - 19 Credits (this is where I started to lose my sanity)
ECE202 - Linear Circuit Analysis II
ECE208 - Electrical Engineering Lab
ECE255 - Transitors and stuff
ECE362 - Microcontroller Interfacing (I LOVED this class!)
ENGR404 - Instruction and Leadership (required for the class I taught this semester)
JPNS201 - Japanese Level III
MA303 - Differential Equation Systems

Spring 2002 - 18 Credits
ECE201 - Linear Circuit Analysis I
ECE207 - Electrical Engineering Lab
ECE369 - Logic for Computer Engineers
MA262 - Differential Equations and Linear Algebra
ME200 - Thermodynamics (man did I ever regret taking THIS as my elective)
JPNS102 - Japanese Level II

Fall 2001 - 18 Credits
ECE200 - Electrial Engineering Seminar
ECE264 - Advanced C Programming
ECE270 - Digital Design (one of the best classes I ever took)
MA261 - Calculus III
PHYS261 - Electomagnetism and Optics
JPNS101 - Japanese Level I (this class was so much fun I wanted to take it over)

Spring 2001 -16 Credits
CS156 - C Programming (this class was so easy it was a joke)
CS180 - Basic Programming (I took this thinking I might transfer to CS, but I never did)
ENGR190 - Engineering Projects in Community Service
MA162 - Calculus II
PHYS162 - Mechanics (rumored to be the 2nd highest dropout class in the nation. I don't know how those rankings work...)

Fall 2000 - 14 Credits
CHM162 - Fundamental Chemistry II
COM114 - Communication (this was the stupidest class I ever took)
ENGR100 - Freshman Seminars (I had some of the best naps of my life in here)
ENGR106 - Freshman Engineering
MA161 - Calculus I (I wish I would have tested out of this, it was a waste of my time)
