A student writes:

Are there going to be detailed questions, by that I mean more than just
the general definition, about interrupt driven I/O? My question is based
on the fact that this involves stacks which we have yet to cover.

<<name withheld to protect the student who is studying for the exam>>

Yes, interrupt-driven I/O involves stacks. Also, it involves material
in Chapter 8 that I only briefly mentioned. Therefore, it will not be
covered at all on the second midterm.

The fifth programming assignment will deal with interrupts, and you may
see it on the final exam, but for Wednesday's exam, you need not be concerned
with it.

Good luck on the exam. See you in class tomorrow.
