Who Am I
I'm a PhD candidate at the University of Texas, Austin. I work with Dr. Christine Julien in the Mobile and Pervasive Computing Lab.
Brief Biography
I have been pursuing a Ph.D. at The University of Texas at Austin since September 2005. My dissertation is titled "Understanding Query Quality in Dynamic Networks". The thrust of the work is to understand the quality of information obtained from sensor, ad-hoc and other unpredictable networks. The wireless medium makes many emerging environments inherently unstable and faults are the norm rather than the exception. My work investigates both qualitative and quantitative semantics for information retrieved from such networks. My research so far has been on the intersection between software engineering and mobile/pervasive computing.
I obtained my Bachelors in Computer Engineering from Purdue University and have worked at National Instruments, Microsoft Research, and Mi5 Networks (a startup that was acquired by Symantec in 2009).
