About me

Hi! I am Taekhyun Kim, and please call me "Taek" :-).
I am a Ph.D student advised by Prof. Powers in Dept. of Electrical and Computer Engineering, The University of Texas at Austin. I am also a member of Wireless Networking and Communication Group.
I am interested in the theory and algorithm development of advanced signal processing techniqeus for various physical phenomena including computer networks, electric power systems.

  - Interharmonic analysis for electric ship power systems
  - Electric ship power system fault/anomaly detection using polyspectra analysis
• Network Traffic Analysis
  - With Prof. Lam in Dept. of Computer Science,The University of Texas at Austin, and Prof. Powers
  - Detecting shared congestion on overlay networks
  - Analysis of network traffic data using wavelets
