Hello, I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. My advisor is Dr. Christine Julien, and I am in her research group, Mobile & Pervasive Computing Group.

Short Biography

Taesoo Jun has pursued the Ph.D. degree at the University of Texas at Austin since September 2005. Before joining UT, he was a research engineer at the IT R&D center, Samsung SDS, Seoul, Korea from January 2000 to June 2005. He received the B.S.E degree and the M.S.E degree in electrical engineering from Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea in February 1998 and 2000, respectively. He was awarded Korea Electricity Power National Scholarship in 2005. His current research interests include performance analysis and evaluation in mobile ad hoc networks and software design for a ubiquitous environment.
