Description:
This course teaches the principles of advanced digital design. It builds on logic design principles learned in EE 316 and demonstrates how digital design and rapid prototyping are facilitated by FPGAs and hardware description languages. The course has a lab component using VHDL and FPGAs. The topics covered include the following:
