Prof. Brian L. Evans is Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at UT Austin. His current interests include the design and real-time implementation of communication system transceivers, desktop printer pipelines, and 3-D sonar imaging systems. He has published more than 140 refereed journal and conference papers. From 1993 to 1996, he was a post-doctoral researcher at U.C. Berkeley on the Ptolemy project which is focused on design methodology for signal processing and communication systems. He received his Ph.D.E.E. (1993) and M.S.E.E. (1988) from the Georgia Institute of Technology and his B.S. in E.E.C.S. (1987) from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE.
The grader is to be announced.
On the Web, you can access the abstracts and papers in many databases. The IEEE database is at http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/Xplore/guesthome.jsp. If you are off campus, then you can access these databases by first connecting to www.lib.utexas.edu, then selecting the database under Research Tools, and finally logging in using your UT EID. An INSPEC database is also available. Also see my online list of upcoming conferences.
