White Paper

The white paper is limited to three pages in double-spaced, single-column, 12pt font format.

A common format for the white paper:

  1. Abstract (limited to 100 words)
  2. Introduction
  3. Review of key paper #1 (one paragraph)
  4. Review of key paper #2 (one paragraph)
  5. Review of key paper #3 (one paragraph)
  6. Conclusion
  7. References (8-10 references would be great)

A journal paper is generally preferred as a key reference. In general, journal papers go through more rigorous review than conference papers and go through multiple revisions. In certain fields, however, international conference papers are more important than journal papers for seminal work. In computer architecture, for example, the two most important publications are the proceedings of each year's IEEE/ACM Int. Microarchitecture Symposium and IEEE/ACM International Symposium on Computer Architecture.

References can be single-spaced and 10pt font.
