Now this is how you begin a vacation... Relaxing in 100 degree hot springs. They have a swim up bar in one of the hot springs.

In the background is Volcana Arenal, which erupts very frequently. Molten lava was visible at night tumbling down the mountain. The volcano is what provided the Tabacon hot springs...
Not all the locals are out to make your stay as hassle-free as possible. This monkey was just about to get in my bag to start russling through for food. He wound up trying to make off with my camera case, presumably to hold for ransom until I went and got food (yes, they are THAT smart). Luckily, I wrestled it away from the little bugger.
