I am not a stickler for how much work you show on homework.  
The purpose of the homework is to help you master the material.  
If you show work and it is wrong, we have a chance to show you 
where you went astray.  ...which will be of help to you, re: the exams.  
If you do not show work, we can not be of 
much help.

So, suit yourself.
