Subject: trying multiple cases of data on your program

A student writes (but I am out of the country today, and not working with
a good environment, so I can't find his message).

In any case, he says he puts values into locations A, B and runs the program.
And it works.  Then he puts new values in A,B and runs it again, but gets
the answers for the first set of values.   What went wrong?

Answer: He did not run the program again!  To run the program again, he hit
the correct button, that is not the problem.  What is the problem?

What happens when he hits the correct button?  The computer (in this case,
the Simulator) takes the value in the PC and gets the first instruction from
the memory location specified by the PC.  If he wants to run the program
again, guess what he (or, you) must load into the PC BEFORE hitting that
button?
