A student writes:


        Professor Patt,
        Everything is going well on the current problem set except 
        for one thing:

        I was wondering on question #6, part b, the problem says to 
        "replace the transistors in your diagrams from part (a) with 
        either wire or no wire to reflect etc..." Do you want us to 
        re-draw the transistors to represent the 3 situations (meaning 
        6 new drawings) or would a truth table suffice?

Frankly, I don't see how a truth table can illustrate the point I am trying
to make sure you understand.  Yup, I want you to draw 6 new diagrams.
