A student writes:

This is my student information sheet.

<<name withheld to protect the eager student who is so eager, he
	does not read instructions>>

I received in my email the above one-line message, accompanied by
his attached Student Information Sheet.

I thought my instructions were clear (Problem 1 on the first problem set):

   1. Please turn in the Student Information Sheet with a recognizable
photograph on the same day you turn in this problem set.

AND, on the Student Information Sheet itself, it says:

Please print this form, fill it in, and turn in with a current photo
(it does not have to be fancy, but it does have to look like you) on
      Wednesday, September 9, 2009.

I fully well admire and appreciate this student's eagerness, but with 447 of
you, it would be a nightmare if you all sent me your information sheets
one-by-one at your individual convenience.

So, I have asked you to print the form, fill it out, attach a photo, and
and turn it in at the start of class, on September 9. I would like the
student who sent me this email message to do the same.

I hope your discussion session today went well, and I look forward to seeing
you in class on Monday.

Good luck with EE 306.
