A student writes: Dear Dr. Patt I'm a student from one of your EE306 unique #16250. I was told that a reference guide to the floating number discussion was passed out to students. I was just wondering what this guide is and where I could find it. I have not gotten it. Thank you <<name withheld to protect the student who was told about a guide>> Actually, this is the second question I got about a reference guide being passed out to students, so I better correct this for everyone. Apparently, I said "two handouts" on floating point. What I meant (even professors need sleep once in awhile) was "two long email messages" that I sent to the class, and assumed everyone received. I wanted to be sure there were no questions about what I discussed in those two emails. Did you get my two long emails on floating point. If not, you should send email to Aater or Chang Joo to be sure we have your correct email address. If you did receive them and something in them is not completely clear, please see one of the TAs or me for help. Sorry I misspoke in class today and caused confusion. Good luck with the rest of 306.
