The due date of the 4th programming assignment was set for next Tuesday night in order to enable you to actually enjoy the long Thanksgiving Day weekend free from EE 306 assignments. However, I am concerned that many of you are under too much pressure with other courses, combined with the preparation time required for the second midterm, to devote the time that it will take to complete the fourth programming lab by next Tuesday night. So I am moving the deadline back a week to Tuesday, December 1, at 11:59pm. I do not want anyone to be a basket case just before leaving for Thanksgiving. Please schedule your next few weeks carefully. You have the fourth program to do. And, you will have a fifth programming assignment due on the last day of classes, although most students in the past have had little trouble writing that program in one afternoon if they understood interrupts. And, you should please get a little rest during the Thanksgiving holiday also. I am still hopeful that many of you will get the program done before you leave for Thanksgiving. To help, there will be extra TA office hours this weekend. We will also have extra office hours the Monday and Tuesday after Thanksgiving for those who don't get it in by this coming Tuesday night. Good luck with the rest of the semester. See you in class on Monday. Yale Patt
