	 Good Day Dr. Patt,

I have been working on the interrupt program for the last 30
minutes, and I have found that the Linux LC3 simulator doesn't respond
to my keyboard input. To confirm my suspicions I rebooted into windows
and ran the exact same program on the windows LC3 simulator and it
responded. My question is: Do I need to do something special for the
	 interrupts on Linux?

	 Thanks,

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. Program 5 has been adapted from
a program 5 that I came up with several years ago. For some reason, an
important fact is missing from the write-up: The assignment must be done on
the Windows Simulator since the Linux Simulator does not implement interrupt
handling.

I very much apologize for the inconvenience. Yes, you need to do this on the
Windows Simulator.

If anyone has a problem accessing a Windows machine, please let me or one of
the TAs know. I do not believe this should be a problem for you, but if it
is, I will see that you get access to a Windows machine. The program itself
should not take you very long, and the learning experience and satisfaction
from seeing it work is worth it.

See you in class on Wednesday.

And, NOW, I need to get some sleep.
