A student writes.  ...and that is fine.  
BUT, does the student READ?  



	 Dear prof. Patt:
	 i understand your explanation on this problem, but according to the 
	 book on page 263, the pc is pushed first then the psr is pushed. but 
	 according to this problem, psr is pushed first...i don't know which one is 
   	 correct.

I am in New York City for the Microarchitecture Conference.  But I am in my

This one I specifically answered on December 5.  If you delete the email I 
send, you may want to check out the Email Archive on the EE 306 web site.
...especially if you don't know what gets pushed first, PC or PSR, for 
example.
