In the interest of helping you prepare for the 2nd midterm,
the exam will cover everything in the course up to and including
the material on floating point.  The fixed point stuff we talked
about today (Wednesday) will not be on the exam.  I will save
that for the final.

Note that although the emphasis is likely to be on the stuff we
have discussed since the first midterm, as is usually the case
in engineering courses, anything we have talked about all semester
could appear on the exam.
