Wed, 27 Nov 2019, 20:32 Programming Lab 3

My students:

A number of you have asked if there is anything you can do about PL3 that
shows you understand the problem and can solve it.

As a result of these inquiries, we have decided that you can do the following:
We will open the submissions to PL3 until Wednesday night, December 11 at
midnight for those who want to take another run at it. If you do, we will
replace your current grade on PL3 with 0.7 times the grade you get on your
resubmission if that is higher than what you originally got. AND, I will note
that when it comes time for me to assign final grades in the course.

We will also hold a review session next Monday night from 7pm to 8pm to help
you get started on it. As soon as we know the room number, it will be posted
on the course website.

Programming is an important skill that you need to develop if you are going to
be an engineer. ...and not just a software engineer. The good news about
learning it in EE306 is that with the Simulator you can see exactly what each
instruction is doing, and thereby develop a stronger foundation, which will
be useful in both EE319K and further down the road. So, I encourage you to
get PL3 working if you have the time.

Enjoy Thanksgiving tomorrow, and good luck with the rest of the course.

See you on Monday.
