My students,

Before we part company...

First, I want to thank you for sticking with EE460N to the end. Serious
coursework in this on-line environment is not the best of worlds, but most
of you came through it in a way that you can be proud of. Enjoy the coming
semester break.

I assigned final grades in EE460N Monday night, and they should all be posted
by now. Please check your exam and the solution sheet which is posted on the
course web page. Although my TAs and I do not make many mistakes in grading,
we are not perfect. If you feel we have made an error in grading your exam,
please contact one of my TAs and show him the error. If he feels you are
correct, he will bring it to me, and if you are correct, I will change your
final exam score accordingly. If that changes your final grade, I will make
that change with the Registrar's office. You will not be penalized for my
error.

If my TA does not agree with you, you are still welcome to bring it to my
attention, but please first go to one the TAs.

As you know we did not have time for my usual final lecture free-for-all this
semester. Some of you wanted us to do it after finals are over and I agreed.
I will plan on next Monday, December 21 at 5pm using the same Zoom Meeting ID. Feel free to join us or not as you wish.

Good luck next semester. We will have another round of on-line classes,
but I am told we will go back to in-person in the fall -- something I am very
much looking forward to.

Most importantly, please stay safe.

Yale Patt
