large room with social distancing, that we need to do it remotely.

So we will do it using ZOOM tomorrow, Tuesday, with the schedule that you
have agreed to with Aniket. Aniket will send you email later today with
instructions to help you set up ZOOM. Then a one-minute trial run tonight
 so you can participate in the initial design review tomorrow.

Longer term, we will deal with what we will substitute for in class lectures.
The university (again) has instructed me to do everything remotely, so that
will require more adjustments. We will be using ZOOM for that as well.
Aniket will point you to the right webpage, and you can check it out between
now an March 30. Other than the initial design reviews, there will be no other
interaction with me until March 30. As I get more information from the
University administration, I will share it with you.

I have also been told to tell you that the meetings of your 3-person team
should also be done remotely, and I leave how you implement that to your
jusgment.

I have also been told that I should do the oral exam remotely, which would
defeat the point of the oral exam. I have asked if I can do it with social
distancing, but have not gotten back an answer yet. If I can't, I will cancel
the oral exam, since it would make no sense to have it.

The situation remains fluid. I will keep you up to date as best I can.

Hopefully, we can both all remain safe and ccomplish the goals of 382N.
