Perhaps that is why we got through so much stuff on Monday. :-) This is one of the problems with the current model. Unless I can figure out a better way, if you have a question, please interrupt me at the end of one sentence and before I start the next and ask the question. I would rather be interrupted and try to answer your question than leave you with a question in your mind and no answer. One of the groups turned in documentation to Aniket and me this evening. I looked at it just to be sure what was in it. The sheets that were not done by hand were perfectly legible, but the sheets that were hand drawn were hard to read. I am very okay with you doing this by hand. But I need to be able to easily read what you write. So, please make your lettering dark enough and large enough for it not to be a problem for me. Third, I mentioned the course evaluations on Monday. The university would like each of you to fill out the course evaluation for both me and Aniket at some point in the semester. Normally I have students do this on paper forms as the last thing we do in the last class of the semester. As I said, what I would really like is to have you fill out these forms 5 years from now when you can better evaluate what you got out of the course. Unfortunately, that is not possible, although I do get some email five years later. This year I have no control over the process. You will be informed at some point to fill out the forms electronically any time between then and the end of classes. I would appreciate it very much if (a) you do fill out the forms, (b) you do so during the week of May 4, after our last class meeting, and (c) you feel free to write any comments you have at the bottom of the form. I do read every one of them. See you in class tomorrow (Wednesday). YNP
