  My students,

I got email a few days ago from the office that administers the evaluations of all faculty and TAs in all
courses taught at UT. You will be soon getting email from them requesting that you evaluate me and
  your TAs.

Normally, you would be expected to evaluate the one TA whose discussion section you were in.
However, due to the way we conduct ECE 306, you may want to evaluate several (all?) TAs. I have asked
that their email to you allows you to evaluate as many of the TAs as you wish.

Also, I want to strongly encourage all of you to evaluate me, and provide comments in the space
provided. I promise you I read every comment and take your comments seriously.

One thing I will ask: Please wait until December 4 (the day of our last lecture), to perform the
evaluations. I would like your evaluations to be of the whole course, and that can not happen until after
  the last lecture.
To help do that, I will leave time at the end of the last lecture for you to perform those evaluations.
Please bring your laptop or other device to class that day.

I should add that you are not required to wait until then to perform the evaluations, so you can do them
whenever you wish. However, I personally think they make more sense if they are done at the end of
  the semester.
I forget the actual deadline. I know it is after December 4.

Meanwhile, good luck with the second midterm exam tomorrow.
