My students,

I am sorry I have to send this email, but in the hopes of correcting some
potential bad decisions, I decided it is worthwhile to do.

My TAs and I have finished comparing all submissions of Labs 1 and 2 with 
all solutions that we have access to, including most solutions that you can 
download from the web which I specifically told you was not allowed.  We have 
found six students who violated our requirement that the work be your own, 
or in the case of two students working together, the work of just the two 
of you.

These students will receive email to meet with me.  The penalty for cheating 
is strong.
  
I am sending this email in the hopes of detering any cheating on labs 3,4,5,6 
where each of you are on your own. 

Good luck with Lab 3.  It will demonstrate you understand many important 
concepts in microarchitecture.
