My students,

A few items which I announced in class today, but since many of you prefer
to watch the recording and may not get to it until after the exam, I decided
to follow it up with this email.

1. Review session tonight at 7:30pm.  The Zoom ID is on Canvas.

2. The exam itself.  The instructions page will be posted tomorrow so
please read it before the exam so you do not waste time reading it during
the exam.

3. The exam itself.  I want you to use Google DOC, rather than answering the
questions in your own handwriting.  If you are uncomfortable with Google DOC,
please contact me or one of my TAs and we will make sure you are up to speed
so you can show your best work while using Google DOC.

4. Since you will be using Google DOC, submitting your exam should take less
than a minute, so we will shut the portal down at 6:35pm.

5. As I said earlier, there will be nothing on arithmetic on the exam.  I will
save both fixed point and floating point arithmetic for the final exam.

Finally, good luck on the second midterm and with the rest of the course.
