My students,

The solution sheet for the second midterm is now posted on the 
course website.  We should have the exam completely graded by
tomorrow night.  Please check your answers against the solution
sheet.  Two reasons: (1) it is a good way to reinforce and/or
correct your understanding of the concepts.  (2) we don't make
many mistakes in grading, but we are not perfect either.  If we
made a mistake in grading, I want to be sure to correct it.  

The procedure is the same as before.  If you think a grading
error has been made, show it to one of my TAs.  If he agrees
with you, he will bring it to my attention, and if an error was
made, it will be corrected.  If he does not agree, he will
explain why the grading was done correctly.  If you wish,
you can still bring it to my attention.

One more thing: Some of you did not do well on the second midterm, 
and are worried about your performance in 460N.  If you want to meet 
with me privately, please let me know.  I realize that the course
is not easy, particularly this semester with the pandemic and
everything being on-line.

You still have Labs 5 and 6 and the final exam to show how much
you have learned this semester.  I wish you good luck.
