I am sending my response to this email to the entire class since the student
is not aware of some important information and there may be others in the same
boat. According to the information on Texas One Stop, titled "Undergraduate
COVID-19 Pass/Fail Exceptions and Q-drops," undergraduates are permitted to
designate up to three courses they took this year (Fall, 2020 and/or Spring,
2021) as Pass/Fail. The courses will count toward graduation even in cases
where normally the ECE requirements specify the course be taken for letter
grade. ...and you have until May 28 (after you see your Spring grades) to
designate the three courses.

So you do not need a C+ to have 460N count, a D- is good enough this year ONLY!

The University recognizes the hardships imposed by Covid-19 and is offering
this if you need to use it.

As far as meeting with me, of course I am willing to meet with you if you
think it would be useful. Send me email and we will set up a Zoom meeting.

Good luck with the rest of the semester. ...and please stay safe.
