        My students,

        Just to let you know that the revised and expanded Chapter 1 .ppt is now
        on line, in the Handouts section of the course webpage.  We should finish
        going over it on Monday, and then move on to Chapter 2, ISA.  I will let
        you know when Chapter 2 .ppt slides are posted.

        Again, I remind you, CoPilot and all other AI packages that could do some of
        the Labs for you are totally off limits.  A few students came to see me and
        told me they had used AI packages and how could they undo it.  My answer:
        First make sure none of the AI packages (CoPilot and others) are involved
        in your work.  Best way is to simply delete them. 

        Everyone is allocated one submit of Lab 1 and one submit of Lab 2, both due
        Sunday night at midnight.  No slack time will be charged.  If you have already
        submitted and received 90% (for example), and you want to submit, shooting for
        a 95 or 100, feel free to do so.

        Good luck finishing both Lab 1 and 2 by Sunday night with only help from me
        and the TAs.
