My students in 382N.19:

A few details about the next couple of weeks, and a question.

    1. The initial design review will be on Thursday or Friday of next week.
    A sign-up sheet is taped to the door of my office. All members of your
    group must be present. If none of the available times are possible for
    you, let me know and I will try my best to accommodate your schedules.

    2. The purpose of this design review is to help you get started. Your job
    at the review is to show with drawings and discussion as needed that you
    understand what you have to do.Make copies of the materials for me and my
    three TAs. I would like paper copies. Some of my TAs may prefer digital
    copies. They will tell you which they want.

    3. There will be no class on Wednesday. I would rather you used the time
    to prepare for the design review.

The question is whether to invite Dr. Suleman to give a follow-up lecture on
the material he discussed in class today. Please send me your thoughts as to
whether you would find a second lecture useful. It would include going through
the step-by-step procedure (including programming in English) that he talked
about today. Please send me email pro or con a second lecture.
