My students,

I have been asked by a few students if I could move the oral exam to the week
after Spring break, that there is too much going on this coming week, and after
Spring break will make it easier to schedule.

I do not mind doing it if that is the sentiment of most of you.

So I am asking my TAs to take a vote in today's discussion session  of what you
prefer.  The question is: (1) do you prefer we move all the oral exams to the
week after spring break, (2) do you prefer we hold them this coming week, or
(3) Either way is fine, no strong preference.  Based on the size of the vote
one way or the other, I will either do all the oral exams this coming week or
the week after Spring break.

If we do the oral exam this coming week, I have another question.  How many of
you would like to take the exam on Sunday, March 8, and be done with it. I
assume none of you would like to take the oral exam on March 15.
