[NHTR 1:202] RA spoke on behalf of Branford in a suit against that town concerning the `swamping' of a bull.
[Abbot 173+] RA came from England; one of the early settlers of Wethersfield Conn where he resided in 1641. He removed to New Haven where he was admitted as a freeman 6 August 1642. By request, his land was laid out in Branford, but he resided in New Haven until 6 May 1645. In 1665, most of the inhabitants, with Rev. Abrahan Pierson, their pastor, removed to Newark NJ and carried with them their records.
