[Bouton2 7-9] Seems to be in error and merges JB Sr and his son John.
[Hale-House 712-5] AB married 2) Matthew Marvin c1647. Her daughter Bridget Kellog is mentioned in her will.
[Washington 3:489-514] JB arrived in Boston Harbor late in the year 1635 in the ship Assurance -- as a single man. Soon left for Newtown, later named Hartford, but was not one of the original founders who divided land in 1639. He married Alice Kellogg as his one and only wife, who married 2) Matthew Marvin Sr as his second wife and who was identified as Mrs Alice Kellogg. Doubtless she came with Nathaniel Kellogg with whom JB was associated. However, the exact relationship is not clear.
