[NEHGR 154:172-188] WB was 89 in 1679, hence born c 1592. Married 1) -- and 2) at Cambridge Mass , 23 Jan 1653, Mary (---) Grissell, who died at Charlestown 17 May 1685, widow of Francis Grissell of Charlestown. William apparently came to Cambridge in 1638 and while aboard ship he witnessed the will of John Harvie of Camscoln Co Essex.

[Savage 1:259] Dedham 1636. Freeman 13 May 1640. By second wife, Mary widow of Frances Griswold of Charlestown, he had no children. Lived in Charlestown from 1658 to 1687. Died at the home of Widow Farrington in 1687.

[NEHGR 154:172-188] William Buller (or Bullard) was born say 1562, and he died between 16 May and 18 June 1610, the dates of the execution and probate of his will. He married in the Barnham parish church of St Martin, 2 July 1587, Grace Bignett who was baptized in the parish church ofHoxne Suffolk on 8 June 1567, d of William and Margaret --- Bignett. Grace died probably in late 1629 or early 1630; her will was probated on 8 February 1629/30 has no date.

WB probablly lived his entire life in the parish of Barnham, which lies on the bend of the Little Ouse River that divides the counties of Suffolk and Norfolk. Hoxne is about 20 miles east of Barnham on a bend of the Waveney River into which the Little Ouse flows. Apparently a respected member of the community, he was churchwarden in 1599.

In his will, WB left his wife Grace the house, land and all belongs for life if she remains unmarried; other wise all goes to William. This suggests that William is the eldest son. Grace then lived 20 more years as a widow. She named the same children as her husbanc except for daughter Margaret and sone William. Margaret had probably died and pehaps she felt taht William had sufficient from his father's will or he had sold his rights. At the time her will was proved, son William was living in the parish of Bradwell om northeastern Suffolk where his daughter Mary was baptized 21 February 1629/30. Before 10 more years had passed, the four sons had all all crossed the ocean and made their homes in New England. Perhaps the daughters did as well.

[NEHGR 154:172-188] HB born say 1535, undoubtedly in Barnham, and he died after 16 January 1590/1 when he was called brother of John Buller who was burried in the parish of St Martin. Henry's wife was Margaret, named in the baptisms of their children. The 1584 Sufolk muster is Blackbourne Hundred, parish of Barneham is found H Bulwer and Th Whelbelly, constables.

Children, all born at Barnham, the baptisms and burial at St Martin parish: William, c1562; Margaret, bp 2 Feb 1563/4; Katherine, bp 19 Sept 1567; Ellen, c1569; daughter, bd 27 Feb 1570/1; Henry, bp 26 Sept 1574.

[NEHGR 154:172-188] JB boran say 1510, resided in the town of Barnham in the northwest area of Suffolk. He died apparently before 1568, as his widow Margaret is listed in the 1568 subsidy of the town. She was buried in the parish of St Martin, Branham, 3 August 1587, as Margareta Buller vidua (widow).

Because JB was apparently the only person of his surname in Barnham in 1535 he is assumed to be the the father of Henry (c1535) and John (c1538) of the next generation who were living in the same village.
