[NEHGR 55:302] BH, baker, was of Hampton in 1640, and sold land at Ipswich 12 March 1641. He was at Southold, 1662, and died 1681. In his will he mentions, eldest son Joseph, second son Benjamin, eldest daughter Hannah Trevalle, Joseph, son of daughter Sarah Conckling, third daughter Mary Budd, third son Caleb, fourth son Joshua, fifth son Jonathan, youngest daughter Mercy Youngs, and wife Mary executrix. Proved at Southampton 18 November 1681.
[Horton 1] BH, born in Mowsley, Leicestershire. In 1622 married 1) Anne Smith of Stanion, Northampton; married 2) Mary Langton. Embarked in the ship Swallow, Capt Jeremy Horton, Master and owner, in 1635 to 1638, and landed at Hampton Mass. He moved to New Haven in 1640 with wife Mary and 2 children, Joseph and Benjamin. Settled in Southold in October 1640.
