[NEHGR 6:345-6] Kingsbury, Henry, ae 54 in 1669. John (kingsberry), Haverhill, died 23 Jan 1670-1, ch.; but one sone and on da. (he was son of Henry, above named.) Henry and wf. Susan, Ipswich, 1660; Rowley, 1662. (Early settlers of essex and old norfolk)
[NEHGR 13:157-160] HK was born about 1615, as we learn from his deposition in 1669, he being 54 years of age. He was a relative, perhaps nephew, of John Kingsbury of Dedham, a deputy to the Mass General COurt in 1647, who died in 1660, leaving a widow but no children. HK was certainly in Ipswich from 1658 to 1660. Soon after this he removed to Rowley, where he was living from 1662 to 1667, and probably later. He finally settled in Haverhill where he died 1 Oct 1687. His wife Susannah, died there at an earlier date, 21 Feb 1678-9.
