[Savage ?:?] Came in 1637, age 20 as a servant of Robert Page of Ormsby, Co Norfolk. Will of 8 March 1664. MP married second John Sanborn Sr.

[Moulton Annals 256-8] Gives the will of WM of Hampton, dated 8 March 1663 proved 11 October 1664, which names both daughters Mary and Sarah. gives SM birthdate.

[NEHGR 141:313-323] William came in 1637, listed as a servant of Robert Page of Ormsby. He settled in Hampton with the Pages in 1639, was a grantee in 1645, and was made a freeman 3 October 1655. is step-father, William Estow, in his will dated 16 October 1655 left 10s for each of his four children. In his own will dated 8 March 1664 and proved 11 October 144, WM named named his wife Margaret, seven minor children and an unborn child. Children are: Joseph, b c1647; Benjamin, b c1648; Hannah, b c1654, Sarah, b 17 December 1656; Ruth b 7 May 1659; Robert, b 8 November 1661; and William, b 25 May 1664.

[NEHGR 141:313-323] MM married second at Ormseby St. Margaret, 15 July 1623, William Estow. The Estows emigrated to New England with their daughters Sarah and Mary. It was perhaps their daughter, called Mary Estoe my apprentice and listed beside their grandchildren, who received a bequest in the 1637 will of John Moulton. RM's name appears in the 1619 court roll at Martham. Children, the last three baptized at Martham, Norfolk: Abigail, b c1613; William, b c1615; John, bp 5 January 1616/7; John bp 20 June 1619; and Anne, bp 21 June 1621.

[NEHGR 141:313-323] JM's name appears on several subsidy and rental rolls from 1597 to 1627. He held two messuages in Ormseby, one named Millers at the east end of the village, and another called Cordiners, at a place called Kings Olland, and also some 26 acres of farm land divided into nine plots in Ormseby and in Caistor-by-sea. His will dated 20 September 1637 was proved in Norwich 7 February 1637/8 [printed].

Children: Robert, b probably c1585; Joseph, b probably c1587; Benjamin; Sarah, bp 12 April 1600; Ester; Rebecca; Martha; and a daughter.

[NEHGR 141:313-323] JM is named in numerous Ormseby records from 1544 through 1563. In the 1563 rental role he is listed as having paid a tax of 15-06-05. His will is dated 22 June 1573 and was proved 1 October 1573 [summarized]. Children: John, c 1520; Thomas, b c1525; Margaret; and Isabell;

[NEHGR 141:313-323] MM was listed on a 1545 subsidy roll, a 1546 assessment roll and 1549 manorial survey. RM's will is dated 4 June 1535 and proved 5 July 1535 [printed]. Probable chid: Robert.

[NEHGR 141:313-323] RM may have been born c1465. He was named on a subsidy roll of 1489, a court roll as defendant 1490, and on a manorial rental record dated 1493. In 1516 he owned land at Filby, Norfolk and was named on a subsidy roll. He is called in the records a yeoman. Probable children: John, b perhaps c 1490; Robert b perhaps c1495.

[NEHGR 141:313-323] JM is the earliest person of the Moulton name known to have lived in Ormseby. The only information about him is that he served on a manorial court jury at Pedham Hall, Ormseby in 1440. he was probably the grandfather of Robert Moulton.
