[TAG 75:4 267-271] IN married Margery --, she has been called a Washburn, apparently beause of the reference in the will of John 2 Washburn to his uncle Isaac Nichols, this possibility is made ulikely by the baptism of jane 2 Nichols at an appropriate time to be the Jane who married William 1 Washburn.

[Fairfield 1:435] Deputy from Stratford to the Connecticut Legislature, May 1662 and October 1664. Will dated 28 September 1694, proved 5 November 1695, lists wife Margery, son Benjamin, children of daughter Mary Chauncey, daughter Sarah Burritt, children of son Isaac, deceased, children of son Jonathan, deceased, children of son Ephriam, daughters Patience, Temperance, Elizabeth Web, and Margery (born between 1647 and 1668).

[TAG 75:4 267-271] FN was baptized at Sedgeberrow, co. Worcester on 25 May 1575: he died before 8 January 1650/1. He settled at Stratford CT by 10 October 1639 when he awas appointed sergeant of the Stratford trainband, and that same year was listed with his three sons (John, Isaac and Caleb) among the 17 first settlers of Stratford.

FN was married first at Sedgeberrow on 24 January 1599/1600, Francis Wimarke. She was baptized there on 2 November 1577 and probably died before the family's removal to NE. Sh was the daughter of Robert Wimarke of Sedgeberrow. FN married secondly about 1649 as her first husband, Ann Wines. She was born say 1632 and was living on 4 March 1693/4, daughter of Barnabas and Ann (eddy) Wines of Southold, Suffolk Co. NY, who after his death married second John Elton, third John Tooker, and fourth John Youngs Esq, all of Southold.

Married 1) --; 2) Anne Wines, daughter of Barnabas of Southold LI; she married 2) John Elton of Southold, 3) Capt John Tooker, and 4) c1691, Christopher Young 2nd. Had John, Isaac, a daughter, and Caleb by first wife; Anne, by his second wife.
