[Philbrick 7] TP supposed to have come from England c1630 and settled in Watertown Mass. He is said to have been a mariner in early like and master of a vessel before coming to NE from Lincolnshire. In Watertown in 1636. In 1645-6 TP sold his estate in Watertown to Isaac Stearns and in 1650/1 had moved to Hampton. In 1661, he bought from John Moulton land adjoing the farms of his sons James and son-in-law John Cass. TP made his will in March 1664 and calls himself very aged.
[NEHGR 108:257-8] As TF Jr. he was sworn as a juryman (capitol pledge with homage at a Bures court 5 October 18 James I (1620). He occurs iin the Bures manor court rolls in 12 October 1631, when he was amerced 3/4 as a tenant of the manor for a defult. He came to NE about 1635 and was a proprietor at Watertown Mass in 1636. In January 1545/6 he sold his property in Watertown and joined his sons in Hampton. In 1655 he was a culler of staves. His will, dated 12 march 1663/4 was proved 8 October 1667. In it he calls himself `aged' and names several grandchildren. 8 children.
