[Reed1 1] JR came to America in 1660. Married 1) Mrs Ann Derby of Providence RI, Widow of Francis Derby of Warwick RI; 2) Mrs Scofield of Stamford Conn.

[Norwalk 454] Born in Cornwal in 1633. Was a soldier from his mid-teens. When Charles II was restored, he fled to the wester world, first to Providence RI where he married Ann, widow of Francis Derby. He then removed to Rye NY and then in 1684 to Norwalk.
