[Ludington1 190] He remained in Wethersfield after his father had left, but later went to Branford. He married second Ellen (Moulthrop [2985]), widow of William Ludington between 5 March and 5 May 1663. JR married third the Widow Phebe Potter in 1670.

[Rose1] Had 47 acres in Wethersfield in 1647. Moved to Branford - was there in 1667 and became a deacon of the church. He was appointed constable of the iron works on the river between East Haven and Branford in 1671 and 1677. He then settled in East Haven.

[Ludington1 189] RR arived in this country in 1634, coming from Ipswich, Co Suffolk. With him came his wife Margery, then aged about 40, and his son John, aged about 15. He seems to have first been at Watertown Mass, but he was one of the first settlers of Wethersfield, 1639-40. A Juror 1641, Deputy 1641-43. he served in the Pequot War of 1637. About 1644 he moved to Totoket (Branford) Ct where he remained until his death. He married secondly Elizabeth, the widow Parker.
