[Gillespie 489] ST was murdered by her brother Benjamin Tuttle. BT lived with them and in a fit of insane rage killed ST with an ax, mauling and mashing her head to many pieces. BT was hanged at New Haven.

JS was the son of GS by his unidentified first wife. JS second wife was Elisabeth Bebedict, dau. of Thomas and Mary (Bridgum) Bebedict. JS married 3) Hannah, dau. of John and Margaret Punderson and widow of John Gibbs.
