[Fairfield 1:618-9] Settled in Concord Mass by 1639 and was made a freeman June 1641. He removed, we suppose in September 1644 with Rev Jones, the Wheelers and others to Fairfield. Here he died in 1648. It may be guessed that he or his wife was closely related to Ann wife of Thomas Wheeler Sr., for in her will of 1659 which was witnessed by Robert Turney, Mrs Wheeler gave her best had to Rebecca Turney. He married Mary -- who married 2) Joseph Middlebrook. Inventory of 6 June 1648. First child Mary born about 1631.

[Gillespie 473-475] Following the death of his father, BT in 1627-8 replaced him as one of the two churchwardens of the parish church in Soulbury, Co Bucks. Inventory lists children: Mary 17, Robert 15, Judith 13. Ann 11. Rebecca 8, Sarah 6, Ruth 4, and Benjamin 3.

[Gillespie 472] His first wife has not been identified. He married 2) Alice, widow of Thomas Gurney of Broughton Abbots in Bierton, Co Bucks, who died in 1528/9. Alice may have been born a Sheppard. Her will of 31 December 1551 was proved 16 January 1552.
