Will of 22 September 1669, proved 1 November 1670, mentions wife Ann, son Isaac, daughters Mary, Ruth, Hannah, sons Samuel, Timothy, Ephraim, and daughters Rebecca, Judith, and Abigail. Marriage date is based on date of birth of eldest son Isaac - 13 December 1642 in Concord Mass.

[Wheeler 491] EW married Ann Turney. He may have been the brother of Thomas. Referred to as Sgt. He may have come to NE with Rev John Jones and company in the Defieance, 3 October 1635. Freeman at Concord Mass 13 March 1636. In 1644 followed Jones to Fairfield Conn, taking with him his wife and 1 or 2 children. Granted a homelot of 3 acres at P{equonnock. He became a large landowner and one of the wealthiest citizens in the county. Will dated 22 September 1669, inventoried 28 October 1670 at 1026-18-06. Widow paid tax in 1681 on 706 acres of land.
